Jonathan Fitzgerald - Senior Pastor

 Pastor Jonathan was called to serve as First Baptist Church New Caney's Senior Pastor in June of 2000. 

The attributes that best describe Pastor Jonathan as a pastor are sound biblical preaching and loving shepherding God's flock. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like First Baptist Church New Caney where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Jonathan takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study.

He attended Jacksonville College and the Baptist Missionary Association of America's Seminary.

Pastor Jonathan has been married to Donna for 35 years. They have five adult children and three grandbabies.

Pastor Joe was called to serve as Worship Pastor in October of 2022.

Pastor Joe was ordained in 1997 by the Baptist Missionary Association and has served in praise and worship for over 25 years.  He enjoys piano as his primary instrument but plays guitar as well. 

He is married to his wife Kim since March 1998 and they have two children Ashe and Ethan.
